Office2003 SP2をインストールしたらOutlookで送受信できない

SP2をインストール後、再起動し、outlookをでメールの読み込みをしたら、何時まで経っても読み込みが終了せず、その間、メールの送受信が不可能である。この原因を解決する方法をご存知の方、教えて下さい。

Outlook2003の「ツール→オプション→その他→詳細オプション」で「動作履歴を記録する（トラブルシューティング）」のチェックボックスをチェックし、Outlookを再起動しました。
そして、「C:\Documents Setting\任意のユーザ\Local Setting\Temp\OPMlog.log」の内容が以下です。

原因が判明しました。
Symantec Norton Internet Secuirty 2005のファイアウォールの設定です。
Outlookのインターネットアクセスが「自動」となていたのを「すべて許可」にしたらメールの送受信がOKになりました。
Office2003SP2をインストール後、Outlookを起動すると、以前は出てこなかったセキュリティ警告が出る事に気がつきました。
警告が出たときに「インターネットに接続するか/しなか」選択できるのですが、そのときに「接続をする」を選択すれば、以後、その接続は無条件でOKになるのですが、今回の場合、いくらOKにしても毎回警告がでてきます。
よって、セキュリティソフト側の設定でOutlookの接続をデフォルトで「すべて許可」にしたら、メールの送受信が可能になりました。
Office2003SP2で新たに追加されたサービスによるネット接続が、セキュリティソフトのファイアウォールでの自動接続で許可できないモノ？だったらしいです。
